Once again, another 6 months have passed just like that and we’re now entering the second half of 2014. How is time flying by so fast?!
So just as I’ve done for the past year, I’m listing down my favorite songs released during the first half of this year, for the months of January to June 2014.

There are gloomy days when I put the following songs on repeat (and open rainymood on a separate tab to heighten the listening experience):

Ra.D - I’m In Love
Brown Eyed Soul - Nothing Better
4Men - Baby Baby
Kim Hyun-joong - It’s Fortunate (Lee Juk cover)
Lee Hong-ki - Confession (Im Jae-bum cover)
Micky Yoochun - Drunken Truth (Kim Dong-ryul cover)

Today is one of those days.

[HD] 140607 APink’s Chorong Bomi Hayoung - Partition @ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Skecthbook (by apinklive)

I didn’t think they could pull off, but dayuuum, I was mistaken. That’s pretty damn good.

Also, I know they’ve said they wouldn’t do sexy, but is it too much to ask for a badass concept for their next comeback?

You can tell a lot about someone by the type of music they listen to. hit shuffle on your ipod, phone, itunes, media player etc and write down the first 20 songs. then pass this on to 10 people. one rule: no skipping.

PSY - HANGOVER feat. Snoop Dogg M/V (by officialpsy)

You know what’s awesome about this video? Even though it’s 90% in English and features Snoop Dogg and is clearly Psy’s attempt at making the Western world understand him, the video is still one of the most Korean-looking videos I’ve ever seen in my life. Soju bombs, chowing down on ramyun at convenience stores (GS25 cameo), Korean drinking etiquette, old-school barber shops, noraebangs, disco pang pang at the amusement park, jjajangmyun at a billiard hall, and more soju till the sun rises. All these are things I’ve learned about Korea after years of kdrama watching and 2 visits to Seoul, but Psy and his team were able to squeeze them all into a 5-minute video. Daebak.
