This is Taemin singing “Replay (Noona Neomu Yeppeo)” on Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook. And the best part about this whole thing is that back when SHINee debuted with this song, back when Taemin was barely 15 and mostly just a dancer, he didn’t have a single solo part in the song. He was always told he was being put in the front only because he was a good dancer. That he was tone deaf. That he didn’t have the voice to be a singer. And now here he is, with his own solo album, singing their debut song on his own. All live. Because he worked his ass off and tried to prove to everyone that he can be a singer, and damnit, he is a singer. I have proud parent feels. Sorry.

i love the moment when onew says that therey didn't give him enough food (or rice) and minho appears out of nowhere and says who didn't give you enough food. Like he's always trying to take care of onew and that makes them so sweet

You mean this moment?

Like, no one even said your name Minho, and you ten seconds from fighting everyone in there. He probably gave him HIS rice, because Minho WOULD or he made the entire kitchen staff upend another bag of rice and waiting with a patient smile (read impatient glare) as they made enough rice to satisfy his Jinki

This is a favorite. Minho’s on the opposite side of the room but just one word of complaint from Onew (using his bionic ears, mind you), and he looks like he’s about to avenge his hyung. Like, who dared give my hyung so little rice?! WHO?! JUSTICE NEEDS TO PREVAIL. MY HYUNG DESERVES HIS RICE. Juseyo.

I never realized how huge a fan of Taemin I was until this solo thing happened. I’ve always considered SHINee as one of my Top 3 k-pop boy groups, but I was never really sure of who my SHINee bias was. With this solo though, it’s kind of looking like he very well might be my bias. (But then there’s a huge chance I’d feel the same way if Onew or Jonghyun make their solo debuts.)
